Georgia View: travel || byron, ga wedding photographer

From the pecan-tree lined roads everywhere you looked, to the sweet southern drawls, and the beautiful southern country homes (complete with huge front porches--oneverysingleoneofthem) I fell a little bit in love with Georgia last week.  I ate boiled peanuts and grits for the first time, shot a beautiful wedding, had an Anne of Green Gables marathon with one of my dearest friends, explored Atlanta with the same friend and somehow ended up in the scary part of town (<--adventure!!!),  went to the aquarium, and got a thorough dose of sweet southern hospitality.  And now I'm back home, excited to sleep in my own bed, hug my family, and see The Boy! (I'll probably hug him too;)

Much Love,

  2. oh, so beautiful! I especially love those trees. I feel like Anne, "I couldn't live where there were no trees--something vital in me would starve.". And "I'll probably hug him too. ;)" That made me smile. :) ♥

  13. You mean to tell me they don't have grits in Texas, let alone boiled peanuts?! Come on. SERIOUSLY. ;)
Even though I'm from the Deep South and am thankfully not away from it right now :), those pictures just...ohhhh...I love it. I wholeheartedly agree with Elsie Dismore's description of it as "our dear, sunny South..." :)
The second-to-last picture definitely reminds me of Ocean Springs-- maybe if it works out for your to shoot my sister's or my weddings whenever that happens we'll take you down there :) how's that sound? ;)
