David and Esther's story is one of the sweetest I've heard in a very long time. For those of you who've been reading my blog for a while, you might remember these pictures I took of them a few years back. They've liked each other since they were 14, and somewhere in the last 11 years the like turned into something more and the realization that they should be forever best friends grew into a forever kind of love.
11 years is a long time to like/love someone before actually marrying them, but despite the inevitable difficulties life brought their way over those years they've stuck together like the best of friends and somehow managed to make it look easy. They had "forever" & "always" inscribed into their rings because that's what they always tell each other after saying "I love you."
Esther is this amazing blend of drop dead gorgeous, super smart, and tough as nails. She grew up on a farm, and it cracks me up to hear this beautiful petite girl talk about winning the hay bale stacking contest with her sister at the state fair last year. David is the perfect match for her, and it's the sweetest thing to watch him love her. He compliments her organized type A-ness, with a liiiittle bit of crazy and the two of them together is a lot of fun :)
They both come from big families who on June 2nd were so excited to come together to celebrate these two adorable people FINALLY getting married. (I can't tell you how many times I heard the word "Finally!" said about these two on their big day;) David and Esther wanted to include all of their siblings + nieces and nephews in the wedding party, making it the largest wedding party I've everrrr shot! (30 total!) The more the merrier, right?! It was seriously so so adorable :)
David and Esther, I've loved knowing you two for the past 4 years and seeing you stick with each other through living far apart from each other, losing people you love, sickness, finishing school, and all the other day to day stuff life throws at you. You two are so much fun, and your wedding day is one that I'll never forget. You treated me like family and I was honored to be there documenting you two finally getting married! ;)

Much Love,Jessica Shae
