Birthday: personal || dallas, tx engagement & wedding photographer

I'm way over-due for a "real" blog post, I know.  But I didn't work at all yesterday because it was my birthday, I'm supposed to be leaving for piano lessons in 15 minutes, I have to fix one of my headlights on my car after that, I have a shoot later this afternoon, and I also have to get ready for a video mentor session tomorrow.  Life is just so wonderfully full and busy--so this will have to do for now.

I had the loveliest of days yesterday, made very special by all of the people I love best :)

1. Birthday presents: my family goes overboard with gifts on birthdays. // 2. Birthday book: I've been reading Katie's blog for a while now, and dying to read the book every since it was published. My parents bought it for me for my birthday and I'm only 1 chapter in and I already can't put it down! // 3. Birthday scarf: from my mother, she knows me well. // 4. Birthday pedicure--my toes are now my favorite color: OPI's "Cajun Shrimp". // 5. Birthday bowling: I'm terribly awful at bowling, but I still love it so very much!  And I have to say that even though I'm awful, I beat my dad and brothers, twice! // 6. Birthday love: so many cards and notes from lovely people. // 7. Birthday dinner: roast, rice, mashed potatoes, gravy, and green bean cassarole. (and sweet tea, of course) // 8. Birthday movie: I'd already seen it once when it came out, but it was sooo good I wanted to see it again. // 9. Birthday cake and ice cream: red velvet cake (THE BEST) and blue bell dutch chocolate. :)
