Emily and I met my senior year while I was living in Colorado, at a bible quizzing competition my church was hosting. She was there with the team of young people who had come from New York to compete. I loved getting to know her a little bit that week, and then was able to see her again a few months later while at a Christian school arts competition.

That was two years ago, and since then I have moved from Colorado to Texas but we have kept up through Facebook and email. We realized a few months ago that she was going to be in Dallas the same week that I was planning on driving through there to visit a friend. She is graduating this year, and so asked me if I could do her senior pictures for her, and I gladly agreed!

Emily is a sweet, soft spoken, beautiful young lady whose heart has obviously been captured by Jesus.

We had so much fun taking the pictures, having to almost sneak into the park trying to make sure the owners didn't try to kick us out because they thought we were doing "commercial photography", me getting stung by a bee and then making a mud poultice in the fountain to rub all over my sting, and lots and lots of laughter. I was so glad that I was able to take your pictures for you Emily, thank you for letting me!

Another cool little piece of info about where I took her pictures. It is a huge historical park and my parents were married over 23 years ago in the little gazebo in the middle of the park. It was so much fun to get to take pictures for her in a place that has so much meaning to me and my family.

May God continue to bless you as you pursue a nursing degree for His glory!
