Yesterday I received an email from someone who took time out of their day to express gratefulness and appreciation for something I had done. It was completely out of the blue and SO very much a day maker :) This week has been long, and somewhat overwhelming, with the launch of the new blog+site co-inciting with having to work from bed for several days because of a nasty virus I caught, trying to wrap up the details for my Summer internship, plus normal day-to-day work to keep up with, I felt more than pushed to the limit at times.
I was planning/hoping to announce dates + news of my summer internship program today, but because of one detail that I'm still waiting to hear back on that news will have to wait (but it is coming!). So instead, I just wanted to say a huge thank you to all of you. To those of you who've taken the time this week to email, txt, facebook, or comment, and say something encouraging about the new design, my pictures, etc.--THANK YOU. Really, you have no idea how much it means to me. To those of you who've been following my work since the "early days" or those who maybe just stumbled across my blog this week, and everyone in between, your support and kindess is the lifeblood that keeps this beautiful dream-turned-full-time-job going sometimes. If I could reach through the screen and give you all a big hug and then take you out for a sonic happy hour date, I would... ;) But for now a heartfelt thank you thank you thank you will have to do. Y'all are the best!
p.s. if you're ever in my neck of the woods let me know and I'll treat you to a strawberry limeade! (or whatever your drink of choice is;)
