Jared and Emily were one of the sweet couples who modeled for my internship program this summer.  They have also been dear friends with The Boy for years now, and I'm happy to now count them among my favorite people as well :)  Their wedding a year and a half ago was actually one of me and The Boy's "first dates" so these two awesome people definitely hold a special place in my heart.  Thank you J&E for pulling out your awesome good looks and smiles for our cameras, we all had so much fun with you!  And Jared, thanks for keeping us all laughing all night with your crazy antics :)  Love you guys!

McKenzie: portraits || lake grapevine, tx, portrait & wedding photographer

Mckenzie was one of the sweet girls that modeled for my Summer Adventure internship last month.  I had never met her before, but she's a friend of a friend and I had seen pictures of her and knew she'd be a fabulous model (I promise I'm not a creepy stalker, I blame it on being a photographer, I can't help but notice beautiful people) so I asked her if she'd be willing to help me out.  After 6 internships last year, and using almost 20 different models for those internships I felt like I was running out of options when it came asking people I knew to model for me :)

This girl was oh so lovely to work with.  She put up with ten different cameras pointed at her for over an hour and acted like a natural in front of the camera.  I had to share a few of my favorites from the day with you all, they're too pretty not to post.  Mckenzie, thank you so much for being willing to model for us, you were fab!
