When I admire the wonder of a sunset

or the beauty of the moon,

my soul expands in

worship

of the Creator.

I got to experience the wonder of both simultaneously on my flight home from Maryland last night.

I took this from my little airplane window and it's straight out of the camera. There was no editing or enhancing needed, it was so breath-taking just like it was. Evening is always my favorite time to fly, especially when it means I get to enjoy the sunset for a little bit longer because I'm flying "back in time" and moving with the sun as it sets.

I've been a terrible blogger/facebooker/tweeter these past two weeks, I know. Life has been so so full here lately, and in an effort to slow down, and enjoy it all I've not been as faithful at updating this. God has been taking my thoughts and dreams for my business in a somewhat new direction for the next year, it's all good, just new, so it's taking a while for me to process it all.

Anne usually knows how to say it best...

For a while there I felt like I knew the direction my business would be heading in the new year, but slowly and surely God has been softening my heart to a different plan, and direction. There's definitely a "bend" that I can't quite see around, but because "God's in heaven" all is right in my world. :) I'm excited to begin sharing over the next two months little glimpses of what Jessica Shae {photography} will look like in the new year!
